Opening it’s doors every first Saturday of the month, London’s BIGGEST FREE vintage marketplace returns to Spitalfields this September!

And this month is pretty special as we’ll be hosting the first ever ‘Vintage Trader Awards’

Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair and Old Spitalfields Market join forces to honour the vintage traders and artisans who make their market one of the best in Europe.

With tough economic times comes great creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.  And you won’t find a more talented gathering of traders than those who stall at Judy’s at Spitalfields on the first Saturday every month at Old Spitalfields Market. From vintage sellers to artisans, furniture to fashion, each trader has a unique story, for some it’s a full time job and for others it’s a hobby that has spilled over into a weekend career.

Judy’s Vintage Trader Awards will show recognition for those traders, who painstakingly source, collect, design and make vintage fashion, homewares, furniture and collectables. For those who spend hours ensuring their market stall is not only aesthetically pleasing but affordable and welcoming to the thousands of shoppers who flood into the market each month.

Each trader is automatically entered into the competition with categories covering ‘most affordable’ and ‘best branding’ we’ve got all bases covered to ensure traders receive recognition for all areas of trading and managing a small business.

The grand prize will be selected by a top panel of experts (TBC) who will award an overall winner.  Our experts will be looking at quality of stock, affordability, creativity, branding, merchandising and service.

Winners will expect awards for their achievements and our prize packages will help those traders boost profits for the 12 months after the competition.  Prizes include free stall places at both Old Spitalfields Markets and Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair, advertising in Vintage Life Magazine, (more TBC)
